DESCRIPTION:Dr. Samuel Ramsey\nSave the Date! Nov. 4 BCBA Meeting: Dr. Sammy Ramsey! \nDr. Samuel Ramsey will be the featured speaker at our Wed.\, Nov. 4\, BCBA meeting\, 6:30-8:30. He will be updating us on his most recent research and travels. The meeting will be held at the Gloo headquarters at 831 Pearl Street on the west end of Pearl Street in downtown Boulder. More information in the November newsletter. \nWith over 25 years of entomological fascination under his belt\, Dr. Sammy Ramsey is a pioneer in bee research. From Bangladesh to Peru and from the Philippines to Belgium\, he seeks sustainable solutions that allow people and pollinators to coexist and thrive. \nDr. Sammy’s research collaborators have included the United States Department of Agriculture and the National Geographic Foundation\, along with scientists around the world. As the Endowed Assistant Professor of Entomology at the University of Colorado Boulder\, he and his team at the Ramsey Lab study the parasitic mechanisms of bee symbionts as they explore strategies to combat pollinator pandemics. \n6:30pm – 8:30pm\nGloo headquarters at 831 Pearl Street on the west end of Pearl Street in downtown Boulder

DESCRIPTION:Please join us for an epic day at the EPIC campus in Littleton on Nov 14 for our Winter Conference! Details are still being worked but we will have Dr. David Peck from BetterBee presenting in person. Start registering here! \nThe Big Money Honey Show will have a different prize structure this year\, a new point system\, and will have LOTS of new categories for entries. Check out the registration page for more info! You will learn from exciting speakers during the day\, with hand-on activities in the afternoon. In a short business meeting\, elections will be held to fill the board positions with terms expiring in November 2026\, i.e.\, President\, Treasurer\, and one Advisor.
